Liturgy of the Word for Children:
This program provides age appropriate activities to explain the scripture readings of the day for children, for children ages 4 through 7. They meet in the church Bride’s Room during the 9am Mass, from September through May.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Children:
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children is a program for children ages 7-18 who have not received the Sacraments of Initiation; please contact Tom Kavanagh (453-2342 x20, TKavanagh@saintanselm.org) for details.
Religious Education Classes:
Our parish programs assist parents in developing their child’s faith. Contact: Tom Kavanagh, Director of Religious Education (453-2342 x20, TKavanagh@saintanselm.org) for any questions.
Pre-School through sixth grade classes meet Sundays from 10:15-11:15am at the school (40 Belle Ave., San Anselmo), from September through May.
Junior High students meet Tuesday from 7-8:15pm, in the Molinari Room in the gym (40 Belle Ave., San Anselmo), from September through May.
We have revised the Health Authorization Form to include multiple children's names on the first page. A separate second page must be filled out for each child. Also, notice that that on this form we included your permission to walk the children to church from the school when necessary.
We will continue to have weekly sign-up for families that wish to have their children escorted to the Church to meet their parents for the 11:00am Mass.
Again this year the children going into 6th grade will have the option of attending the Sunday morning classes, or the Tuesday evening Junior High classes. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.
